Lisa M. Ciharan

Lisa always knew she wanted to be a trial attorney and while still in high school, she attended two summer pre-law programs, one at Yale and the other at Harvard, that solidified her career choice. Lisa was the valedictorian of her high school graduating class. She earned a scholarship to The Ohio State University and graduated with honors in three-and-a half years with a double major in psychology and sociology. She graduated from DePaul University’s College of Law in 2012.

Lisa currently resides in Skokie with her husband, Viorel Ciharan, and their four children. Fluent in Romanian, she is a leader in Chicago’s Romanian community and a very active parishioner at Holy Nativity Romanian Orthodox Church on Chicago’s Northwest Side. She has served as the Sunday School Director, during which time she spearheaded activities, created religious and folklore curriculums, and organized events for nearly 90 kids ages three to 14. For the past three years, she has been chairman of the Annual Romanian Food & Folk Festival – the largest Romanian summer festival in Chicago. The success of the festival has tripled since Lisa has dedicated her time and efforts to the event. Lisa gains great personal satisfaction from using her skills and leadership in both her professional and personal life!
