Yehonatan trains with top coaches in Israel every day and is on the steady road to achieving his goal. His competitive spirit, nurtured by his father who also serves as his manager, fuels his drive to excel. Moreover, the Israel ParaSport Center has played a pivotal role in motivating and supporting Yehonatan’s training. This organization is a sport center for the disabled, focused on empowering children and adults with disabilities, giving them a place to train, and prosper in their sport.

Due to medical negligence, Yehonatan’s skull was fractured during a forceps delivery. Experts predicted that he would never walk or talk in his life. Attorneys Steven Levin and Jaime Koziol Delaney first met Yehonatan Levi when he was 8 years old. His parents were taking every step they could, fiercely advocating for their child after his birth injury. Yehonatan’s parents fought hard, ensuring Yehonatan got the resources he needed for all treatments available, including physical therapies, occupational therapy, equestrian therapy, and aquatic therapy.

Levin & Perconti obtained a substantial and meaningful result in the case for Yehonatan and his family in 2019 and have kept in touch with the family since. This successful resolution allowed Yehonatan to access crucial therapies for his underlying condition, contributing to his impressive achievements today. Yehonatan’s family continues to stay in regular touch with Steve and Jaime.

“Just because a case ends, that doesn’t mean the relationship ends.” Jaime said about the family, who feels this case has stuck with her throughout the years. “When you spend that many years with a family, pouring everything you’ve got into a case together, you grow so close to them.”

The family’s most recent visit included exciting news. Yehonatan told Steve and Jaime that he will be representing Israel in the Paralympic games that will take place in Los Angeles in 2028.

“There is nothing more rewarding than to see him not only excel in the sport, and excel in school, but to be so confident and motivated. Levin & Perconti was honored to represent him, and it warmed my heart to see him doing so well.” – Steve Levin
