Susan Novosad, a partner at Levin & Perconti, has been selected as a Top Women Lawyer in Leadership by the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois for 2015. Managing Partner
Susan Novosad was the only woman lawyer at Levin & Perconti when she joined the firm more than 20 years ago. Since then, she has taken on a substantial role in the firm, becoming a managing partner. She works directly with cases as well as management and development of the firm. Susan oversees the administrative staff, performs human resource functions, and develops and implements organizational procedures for the firm. She utilizes her vast knowledge and incredible skills to assist others within the organization. Her diligence and attention to detail are unparalleled and she always strives to provide her assistance to associates.
Susan Novosad Bio
Susan Novosad is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and The John Marshall Law School of Chicago, where she earned her Juris Doctorate with distinction. A lifelong Illinois resident, Susan grew up in Evanston, IL and graduated from Evanston Township High School. Susan has a very impressive and full career. Susan was included in Chicago Magazine’s “Illinois: The Top 100 list” and “Illinois: The Top 50 Women list”. She has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer every year since 2005. In 2015 Susan was selected for “Top 10 Women in Personal Injury” in 2015 by Leading Lawyers Magazine.
Susan’s Contributions
Susan Novosad is extremely active in her profession. She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the American Association for Justice: Nursing Home Litigation Group. She participates in many community organizations and offers her advice and guidance to others through lectures to law students and other attorneys. She has mentored students as part of the John Marshall Law School’s Alumni Mentoring Program and has provided informational lectures to the Jewish community. She was also named to the Illinois Leading Lawyers and the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell.
