CHICAGO, November 16, 2021 – Last year, the attorneys at Levin & Perconti obtained more than $17 million in total settlements for their clients, placing the firm among the top 10 in Illinois, as ranked by Jury Verdict Reporter in its 2021 Settlement Report.
The 2021 JVR Settlement Report ranks 118 Illinois firms with settlements of $500,000 or more recorded between August 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021. Levin & Perconti ranks in the top 10 within that elite group for the highest total settlement amount.
“Despite the many challenges of the pandemic, we kept fighting for our clients. We were able to continue successfully resolving their cases for fair and reasonable compensation,” said firm co-Managing Partner Michael Bonamarte.
Among the firm’s most notable successes, Levin & Perconti attorneys last year secured $1.7 million for a client in the matter of a developmentally disabled resident who fatally choked in a care facility.
