How Does Levin & Perconti’s Contingency Fee Work?
Video Transcript
Levin & Perconti represents all clients on a contingency fee basis. The contingency fee means that Levin & Perconti receives a percentage of the amount recovered if the case is successful. If the case is not successful, no matter how many hours we put into it or how long we prosecute it, the client owes nothing. Our fee is dependent on us obtaining a successful outcome for our client, and the contingency is basically a percentage of the amount recovered. Our standard fee is typically one-third of the amount recovered. What the contingency fee does is open the courthouse doors to people who couldn’t afford to pay a lawyer an hourly rate or a flat fee.
