What Should I Do if I Suspect Nursing Home Abuse?

How many of you have suspected or actually believe that your loved one has been abused or neglected in a nursing home? Unfortunately, I feel that is true about many of you. Abuse and neglect, it usually results from nursing homes not having enough staff or nursing homes having staff that frequently change our nursing homes having staff that don’t communicate with each other. Your loved one needs time and attention in order to prevent falls or bedsores or wandering away from the nursing home or physical or sexual abuse or medication errors, nursing homes need trained staff, sufficient staff, and staff that is allowed to work with the appropriate resources to give your loved ones the care that they need. If you suspect something is going wrong, if you see that your loved one has an injury that you think may be due to abuse or neglect, if you think your loved one is hospitalized because the nursing home did not do its job, feel free to give us a call.
